प्रधान मंत्री उज्ज्वला योजना ( Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana )


  1. Solar cookers could have been distributed along with LPG under   प्रधान   मंत्री  उज्ज्वला  योजना  ( Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana ). 
  2. Solar cookers can be used in summers or during day time.  
  3. There is Lot of open space in villages   and solar cookers can be easily used in villages. 
  4. If solar cookers are used during summers or day time THEN Lot of LPG could have been saved.
  5. Use of solar cookers will also prevent pollution, global warming and our import bill of hydrocarbons.
  6. India imported LPG at $ 3.8 billion ( Rs. 2,50,000 crore ) during 2015-16. If consumption of LPG is reduced 10 % by using solar cookers THEN Rs 25,000 crore can be saved.
