Compare energy efficiency of 2 windmills of equal size under identical   conditions.

First windmill  has vertical blades and second windmill has  horizontal blades.

I am saying so because If windmill is vertical then it may not rotate if wind flows in a direction perpendicular to windmill.

I have seen vertical   windmills that rotate with direction of wind.

Compare Few THERMAL  power plants.

First do analysis of normal thermal power  plants under operation.

THEN consider A thermal power plant that does not  use steam. Instead of steam This plant directly uses gases generated during combustion for power generation

Usually thermal power  plants reject lot of heat to A reservoir

Think of adding 1 more thermal power plant  that  uses this rejected heat for power generation.

Solar panels can be  attached at DIFFERENT  heights and along  different directions on A  tower that supports  windmill.
