  4. बांग्लादेश में बारिश के कारण जमीन खिसकने से 144  मरे

  5. Rain-triggered landslides in Bangladesh kill 144

  6. homicide means killing of 1 person by another.  About  60,000 Brazilians are killed each year, accounting for 10 % of all homicides worldwide

  7. Politicians live in the prime real estate of Lutyens' Delhi
    Many of Lutyen’s Delhi properties are valued at Rs 300 - 500 crore  ( 40 – 70 million US Dollars ).
  8. Paul Krugman is PROFESSOR of economics in united states. HE got Nobel prize for economics. Few months ago he wrote, " Around 75,000 U.S. workers are LAID OFF or FIRED every working day. "
  9. INSPIRE Scholarship - INSPIRE Programme

This scheme offers 10,000 scholarships every year @ Rs.80, 000/- each for undertaking Bachelor and Masters level education in the Natural & Basic sciences.
  10. In US, Trump’s presidential campaign was described as an anti-elite movement; and yet his administration is already practically a subsidiary of Goldman Sachs
  11. Care Ratings says, overall gross non performing asset ( NPA ) of  9 private banks in India increased to Rs 78,991 crore in March 2017 from Rs 26,455 crore in March 2015, that is almost three times
  12. 900 : 1 is the ratio of military spending to global education spending
  13. Asia has less fresh water per capita than any other continent, and it is already facing a water crisis that, according to an MIT study, will continue to intensify, with severe water shortages expected by 2050
  14. Advances in artificial intelligence and robotics are powering a new wave of automation, with machines matching or outperforming humans in a fast-growing range of tasks. How should policymakers cope with the adverse effects of this process on employment, wages, and economic inequality ?
  15. World powers like United States have often been known to intervene to overthrow other countries’ government, install pliant regimes and then prop up those regimes, even with military action.
  16.  In the main Zoroastrian temple in Tehran, the portrait of Zoroaster was replaced with a portrait of Khomeini. , scholars of Zoroastrian and ancient Iranian studies were persecuted after 1979. “Many suffered physical, psychological, and financial punishments  Zoroastrians—officially numbered, according to Iran’s 2011 census, at just over 25,000—are still subjected to apartheid-like legislation For Iranians, you feel that being Zoroastrian is like being Iranian
  17. Russia’s GDP is about 40 % of Germany’s and over 50% of France’s. Life expectancy at birth ranks 153rd in the world, just behind Honduras and Kazakhstan n terms of per capita income, Russia ranks 73rd ( in terms of purchasing power parity ) – well below the Soviet Union’s former satellites in Central and Eastern Europe. Country has deindustrialized: the vast majority of its exports now come from natural resources. It has not evolved into a “normal” market economy, but rather into a peculiar form of crony-state capitalism.
  18. Many had much higher hopes for Russia, and the former Soviet Union more broadly, when the Iron Curtain fell. After seven decades of Communism, the transition to a democratic market economy would not be easy. But, given the obvious advantages of democratic market capitalism to the system that had just fallen apart, it was assumed that the economy would flourish and citizens would demand a greater voice.
  19. Investment in technology and education gave Germany a distinct advantage in advanced manufacturing
  20. Gore Vidal once remarked

“ It is not enough that I should succeed,         others must fail. “
  21. Why rapid solidification leads to formation of quasi-periodic crystals ?
  22. it is believed that icosahedral clusters of atoms do exist in molten metals and alloys. These, when slowly cooled, would solidify in to crystalline arrangements, many a time retaining the inner shell atoms of the unit cell in the same icosahedral arrangement. However, if the melt were to be quenched rapidly, there won't be enough time available for this rearrangements to take place. As a result, the quenched in solid would posses  icosahedral symmetry or a related quasi-periodic structure.
To some extent it is proved by in-situ x-ray diffraction       ( synchrotron ) experiments that such icosahedral clusters do exist in metallic melts  .
  23. Many quasi-periodic materials are not stable
    thermodynamically and therefore cannot form
    by conventional casting.

They can, however form by rapid solidification.

There are stable quasi-periodic materials that
    can form by conventional casting.

These can be grown to large single crystals.
  24. IF INDIA DIVERTS PAKISTAN’S WATER, IT IS A TRAVESTY OF JUSTICE UNDER INTERNATIONAL RIVER LAW. IF WEST  PUNJAB DOES THE SAME TO SINDH, IT IS DEEMED NECESSARY FOR DEVELOPMENT OF PAKISTAN
  25. IF INDIA DIVERTS INDUS WATER THEN IT IS violation OF INTERNATIONAL LAW. IF WEST PUNJAB DOES SAME TO SINDH, IT IS FOR DEVELOPMENT OF PAKISTAN
