PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCEs

1.      Supervised production of foundry grade pig iron in Mini Blast Furnace of Tata Metaliks Limited (TML) as an engineer at Kharagpur in West Bengal and Redi in Maharashtra - Goa border for 1 year ( 1 July 2010 – 30 June 2011 ).

2.      Lecturer in centre for material science & engineering at NIT – Hamirpur from 4 august 2015 till 3 august 2016 ( worked for a contract of  1 year ).

3.      Assistant professor of material science & metallurgical engineering on contract basis in Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology ( MANIT ) - BHOPAL from 12 January 2015 till 3 august 2015.

4.      PhD student in department of Material Science & Engineering at IIT Kanpur from july 2013 till November 2014.

B.Tech Project : Preparation & characterization of cadmium selenide schottky barrier by depositing aluminum on it.

M.Tech Project : Preparation of composite pre-reduced ( CPR ) pellets containing iron ore & charcoal. Reduction behavior of pellets in resistance and microwave furnace was compared.

Instruments used : vacuum coating unit, Scanning Potentiostat Galvanostat Workstation, resistance furnace and microwave sintering furnace ( operated both furnaces till 1000°C. )
